Shipping and Delivery Policy

LAND DELIVERY BY OUR TRUCK WITHIN 100 MILES OF LEWISTON, MAINE:
Black Bear Ladder, Inc. offers land delivery within 100 miles of Lewiston, Maine and areas of Eastern New Hampshire and Northeastern Massachusetts for a $10 fuel surcharge fee. We make every effort to deliver as soon as possible (usually within 1 to 3 days) factoring in weather, load size, bundling deliveries and location for scheduling. We try to provide an approximate delivery time when orders are placed. For orders outside our normal area and within reasonable driving distance there is a $1 per loaded mile surcharge.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OUR DELIVERY AREA:

Black Bear Ladder, Inc. has shipped products from Alaska to Florida and Canada. We use a variety of carriers to provide the most cost-effective mode.

How much do you charge for shipping? Shipping charge is based on the weight of the item(s) being shipped. Our shipping prices are VERY reasonable. Unless otherwise stated, all products DO NOT include shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated from the closest warehouse to your location. Please call or email us for a freight quote.

Who do you use to ship?
We utilize UPS or LTL for most deliveries depending on the circumstances. Sorry, the choice of shipping carrier used for any particular order is made from the warehouse the order ships from, and cannot be chosen in advance.

Can I ship C.O.D. or to a P.O. Box?
We do not ship C.O.D. and cannot mail to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address will be required for delivery. We do not ship to APO addresses.

How long does it take for you to ship my order?
Although every effort is made to process and ship your order within three business days, shipping time is dependent on stock availability. If an out-of-stock or back order situation arises, we advise the customer as soon as possible to determine the best course of action.
